Aluminium Alloy Boxes

HitchMate now has a range of premium aluminium alloy cargo boxes designed for your specific needs. Unlike the usual imported boxes sold at auto parts retailers our Australian made products have the strength, quality and value consistent with being made right here by Australian tradesmen, and it shows.

One look and the quality is obvious.

HitchMate's aluminium alloy boxes are made of 2mm aluminium tread plate, 25% heavier than what is considered standard by other manufacturers.

Our boxes have full seam TIG welding for both strength and appearance. Hinges with lubrication fittings are MIG welded for strength (not press fitted or pop riveted like the others.)

Locking T-latches are both dust and moisture sealed.

Gas struts are selected specifically to match the ideal force necessary for each individual box application. A one-piece rubber gasket is also standard creating a virtually dust free sealed enclosure.

Used in conjunction with our cargo carriers on motor vehicles, fastened to the bed of your utility or mounted onto your caravan's draw bar these boxes will securely accommodate your precious cargo for years to come - and look good doing so.
